Terms of service

The agreement between you and TrySEO, kept short and written in plain language.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

These terms apply when you use the TrySEO website and application (“TrySEO”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TrySEO.

1. The service

TrySEO helps you research keywords and produce SEO articles for your website: it drafts a brand profile from your site, discovers keywords, researches live search results, writes articles, audits them against an on-page SEO rulebook and, if you choose, publishes them to a CMS you connect. TrySEO is in early access, so features may be added, changed or removed.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the application. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Only add websites that you own or are authorised to work on.

3. Acceptable use

TrySEO is built to raise the quality of AI-assisted content, not to flood the web with more of it. You agree not to use it to:

  • produce spam or large volumes of low-value pages made mainly to manipulate search rankings;
  • create content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory or that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent who is behind a site;
  • attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits;
  • resell or share access in a way that gets around the credit system.

You are responsible for what you publish. AI output can be wrong. Review every article before it goes live, check facts and claims, and make sure it is suitable for your audience and your industry. That responsibility stays with you when auto-publish is switched on.

4. Credits

New accounts receive free credits during early access. One credit is used for each generated article, and a credit is refunded when generation fails before an article exists. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred. Because this is early access, the number of free credits, what a credit buys and whether paid plans are introduced may change.

5. AI output, estimates and rankings

  • We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue or any other result in Google Search or anywhere else.
  • We do not guarantee that generated text is accurate, complete, original or free of errors.
  • Search volume and keyword difficulty figures are model estimates, not measured data.
  • An audit score measures an article against our on-page rulebook. It is not a prediction of how the article will perform.

6. Your content stays yours

You keep all rights you have in what you put into TrySEO and, as between you and us, in the articles generated for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to run the service for you, which includes sending the necessary text to the providers described in our privacy policy. The TrySEO software, design and brand remain ours.

7. Third-party services

TrySEO relies on services run by others, including Cloudflare for hosting and Google for AI models and search grounding, and it can connect to your own WordPress site or webhook. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they behave or for whether they are available.

8. Availability and warranty

TrySEO is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will meet a particular need. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond what is written here.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TrySEO is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost rankings, lost traffic or lost data, arising from your use of the service or from content you publish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using TrySEO at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using TrySEO after a change, the updated terms apply.
