How it works

From your website to an article you would sign off

Eight steps. The first three you do once per site. The rest happen each time you pick a keyword, and most of them happen without you.

What it takes. Times vary with the topic and with how quickly the research comes back.

The flow

What actually happens, in order

No black box. This is the same sequence the product runs, described the way we would explain it to a colleague.

  1. 1

    Add your website

Enter your domain and TrySEO creates a project for it. There is no plugin to install and no script to paste into your site. The project starts with four writing styles and three author personas you can reuse or rewrite.

  2. 2

    Approve your Brand DNA

TrySEO reads your homepage and up to three internal pages, then drafts a brand profile: tone, audience, core entities, voice rules, things never to say, an author persona and a sample paragraph. Correct anything that is off and approve it. Every article is written against this profile.

  3. 3

Add seed keywords and discover queries

Add a few seeds that describe what you sell or know. For each one, Gemini searches Google live and proposes real queries with their search intent and People Also Ask questions. Each query also gets a volume and a difficulty figure: both are estimates, not measured data, and are best used to compare ideas with each other.

  4. 4

Pick a keyword, TrySEO researches the live results

Choose a keyword and press generate. One credit is taken, and the first thing TrySEO does is look at what ranks right now: the angles the top pages take and the questions people actually ask about the topic.

  5. 5

Outline, then a section-by-section draft in your voice

The research becomes an outline. Then each section is written on its own, against your brand profile, instead of in one long pass where quality fades towards the end. The result is an article of roughly 1,500 words.

    Your brand voice~1,500 words

  6. 6

Links, meta title, meta description, slug

TrySEO links to articles you have already published in the project where the phrase fits, up to four. It writes a meta title that is kept to 60 characters (cut at a word boundary if needed), a meta description, and a short slug with the filler words removed.

    Title ≤ 60 characters

  7. 7

    The 19-point audit scores it

The finished article is scored from 0 to 100 against the SEO rulebook: strategy, readability, keywords, technical elements and media. Under 75 it waits for you. It stays a draft for human review, even when auto-publish is switched on.

    Under 75 = draft

  8. 8

Review in the editor, then publish or export

Open the draft in the rich-text editor and change whatever you would change. Then export the HTML, or publish to WordPress or a webhook if you have connected one. If generation ever fails before an article exists, your credit is refunded.

One prompt

What a single prompt skips

  • No look at what currently ranks for the query
  • No idea how your brand sounds or what it must never claim
  • Written in one pass, so the ending gets thin
  • Nobody checks the title length, the headings or the keyphrase
TrySEO

What this flow adds

  • Research from live search results before the outline
  • A brand profile you approved, applied to every section
  • Sections written one at a time
  • A 19-point audit, and a draft that waits for you under 75
